Annabell is part of the organisation team for AIWD but also
part of Circle of The Old Ways, a spiritual and community
charitable group based in Littlehampton, where her passion

The
AIWD theme this year is 'Bread and Roses', with bread symbolising
economic security and roses a better quality of life. 100
years on from the 15,000 strong march in New York, 'Bread
and Roses' is still a powerful theme uniting women around
the world.

Douglas is well known for Dancing Workshops around Sussex.
Her classes can help you lighten your body and spirit with
the restorative powers of music and dance. Janet offers

Everyone
is welcome to join in, there is no need to have any experience
of Indian chanting nor to be musical in any way. Even listening

Akemi - Kimono Demonstration
Daughter
of a samurai family and lecturer of Japanese culture, it
is Akemi's aim to present authentic Japanese culture in
a way that is accessible and enjoyable for people in the
UK. Akemi's topics for talks and demonstrations are wide
and varied, but today she will be offering a lecture and
demonstration on wearing a Kimono. Further information about

Nyodema - Bognor based charity, Nyodema (helping
each other), brings world music and art to the local community.
Money raised through various events, including a Summer
Festival, is used to support health and educational needs

Rachel
– Jewellery making (morning only) Rachel will be demonstrating
and encouraging the making of earrings. After taking a jewellery
making course at Northbrook College, Rachel does this as
a hobby and enjoys sharing her skills.

With Spring coming up, Pauline will be helping you make
Flower Head Garlands with paper flowers, ready for celebrating

Maureen is a lady of many talents and part of several groups.
Known as Beth the Weaver within The Guild of Historical
Interpreters (www.the-guild.org), Maureen will be sharing
her skills of spinning and weaving both in demonstration

Arun
U3A - Sylvia McGregor and friends will be offering
various activities and demonstrations dependent on time:-
making of school story bags, designing & making greeting
cards, play reading, exhibits from U3A digital photography
group and the art of Story telling.
Arun University of the Third Age is part of the great network
of self-help groups which form the U3A and promote life-long
learning and leisure activities for older people no longer
in full-time employment. Not a university
in the conventional sense .... here everyone's skills and
experience are valuable and we all learn from each other.
No qualifications needed. And a great
way to keep active mentally, socially and physically.

Mary Brookshaw is a qualified Hypnotherapist who enables
people to make positive changes in their lives. Mary also
runs classes for Relaxation and Meditation. Many people
spend their lives rushing around, worrying about everybody
else and seldom take time for themselves. Relaxation is
an excellent way of unwinding and allowing ourselves to
be still, enabling us to be more aware of what we need in

by 3.45pm performance in Main Hall. This is the song written
to commemorate the fight for decent wages and living conditions,
still powerful and meaningful today. Come along to the workshop
and join in the final performance of the day in the Main
Hall.
